Adam Pascal and Tracie Thoms - Take Me Or Leave Me
How has no one posted this video yet????
TODAY IN THEATRE HISTORY: In 2000, Disney increases the number of musicals it has running on Broadway to three, as Aida opens at the Palace Theatre. Adam Pascal, Sherie Rene Scott and Heather Headley star. Despite not being nominated for Best Musical, Aida will win four Tony Awards includes ones for Headley’s performance, and for Elton John and Tim Rice’s score.
Adam Pascal is a 43-year-old performer from the Bronx. Pascal was drawn to theatre after being a part of different rock bands with friends from high school, including the band Mute. He has also been my biggest celebrity crush for years.
Pascal got his big break playing the role of Roger in the original Broadway and London casts of Rent and he went on to reprise the role in the movie. He originated the role of Radames in Elton John’s Aida. Other roles he has held on Broadway include Huey Calhoun in Memphis, Billy Flynn in Chicago, and the Emcee in Cabaret. He performed in multiple Chess concerts playing Freddie Trumper.
Song you NEED to hear Adam Pascal sing: “Pity the Child” from Chess, Elaborate Lives from Aida, and Memphis Lives in Me from Memphis.
